Terms of Use
1. What the directory is
DouxProcess Directory lists businesses and lets people and AI assistants find them, see licence details where an authority publishes them, and send a request to a business they choose. DouxProcess is not a party to anything you arrange with a business, and does not sell, price, recommend, review or guarantee any business, product or service.
2. Listings
Listings come from public records and from businesses themselves. We show the date each licence was checked and link to the issuer's record; check it yourself before you rely on it. A listing marked as built from public records has not been claimed by the business.
3. Requests
A request goes to the one business you chose, only after you agree, and the business replies to you directly. Do not send health details, payment card numbers, government ID numbers or passwords through the directory.
4. Businesses
Listing is free. A business that claims a listing confirms it controls the business and that what it adds is true. We may suspend or remove a listing that is false, misleading, unlawful or the subject of credible complaints.
5. Acceptable use
Do not scrape the directory in bulk, overload it, use it to send unsolicited marketing, impersonate anyone, or use it unlawfully. Automated access is welcome through the MCP endpoint and the published feeds within reasonable rates.
6. Disclaimers
To the fullest extent the law allows, the directory is provided as is, without warranties of any kind, and DouxProcess is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for anything a listed business does or fails to do.
7. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California.
8. Changes
When these terms change, the date at the top changes.
